Project ALEXANDROS The Greek Participation in the GLOBE Program

ALEXANDROS Project is the Greek participation to the GLOBE Programme which aims at the development of a partnership between students in elementary and secondary schools, their teachers and the scientific research community. Selected schools throughout the world will continuously monitor a number of environmental parameters, will transmit their measurements over the Internet, will receive environmental data from other GLOBE schools, will acquire information - through Internet - from a variety of domestic and international sources, and will collaborate with scientists and other GLOBE students worldwide by using collected data in environmental projects.
