Constantinos Cartalis is the Country Coordinator of the ALEXANDROS Project. He is a Physicist by profession with specialization in the atmospheric environment. He holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Physics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (1989). At present he is an As. Professor at the Department of Applied Physics of the University of Athens where he teaches the classes Pollution and Protection of the Environment, Environmental Management, Climatic Change, Physical Meteorology and Principles and Applications of Remote Sensing. Finally he has over 60 publications and presentations in International Journals and Conferences.
