UoA Text-to-Speech Phonetic Alphabet

(UoA-TtS-PA)

DESCRIPTION
UoA-TtS-PA is a phonetic alphabet, which accommodates the requirements of a Text-to-Speech diphone based system rather than a phonetic application. It is oriented to TtS. The reason for developing this alphabet raised from our efforts to build diphone databases for several synthesizers (LPC, MBROLA).
